Medical physicists conducting radiation dose assessments for research proposals must comply with section 2.2 of the Code of Practice for the Exposure of Humans to Ionizing Radiation for Research Purposes(opens in a new window) (the Code), published by the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency. This document sets out a standard set of arrangements to be used by physicists conducting dose assessments that will ensure consistent application of the Code(opens in a new window).
